Addiction counselling, on the other hand, focuses on substance abuse disorders, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, and other addictive behaviors.
Mental health and addiction counselor help individuals suffering from mental health disorders and addiction achieve recovery and improve their quality of life.
It is the role of counselors to identify underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and manage symptoms with their clients.
Mental health and addiction counselors are to provide compassionate and effective care that helps clients recover and improve their mental health.
