Course Description
Herbal medicine is the study of pharmacognosy and the use of medicinal plants.
Herbal medicine, also called botanical medicine or phytomedicine, refers to using a plant's seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. This is traditionally use outside conventional medicine.
Types of herbal medicine:
- Can be swallowed as pills, powders, or concentrated liquid extracts (tinctures)
- Brewed as tea.
- Used on the skin as gels, lotions, or creams.
- Added to bath water and more.
This course is ideal for those who wish to produce their own herbal pharmacy, heal themselves, family or friends, create herbal products, or import or export individual herbs or herbal formula, and this will remain a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and inspiration for years to come.
Herbal Medicine TCAM study at Mkk Multipurpose Health college doesn't focus on only Traditional Herbal Medicine principle but includes Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Our Herbal Medicine course offers a comprehensive study of herbal medicine, healing diets, holistic anatomy and physiology and iridology, providing the full spectrum of modalities for creating holistic healing.
We also help our student to join appropriate physicians associate and Council to become a Certified Naturopathic Doctor (ND). Certificate course is also available for other Qualifications rating.
for 3 months certificate program, 2 years Diploma and Advance Diploma programs (i.e 4-semesters, 4 months per semester respectively) and 1 year Professional Graduate Diploma certificate program (i.e 2 semesters, 4 months per semester)
